Support, Strength, and Hope
We at Friends Who Think Pink are proud to be a non-profit charitable organization founded by Peggi Currelley, a breast cancer survivor. Our story began with Peggi’s personal experience in recognizing the crucial role that a supportive community can play in overcoming cancer. Initially hosting a small “giveback” dinner at her home, the event gained more traction each year and was soon moved to LiGreci’s Staaten, a popular catering hall on Staten Island.
At Friends Who Think Pink, we are passionate about raising funds for breast cancer awareness and research. Our intention is to make a difference in the lives of those affected by the disease. Our organization honors all cancer survivors and remembers those who have lost their lives in the battle.
Our commitment to community outreach is what sets us apart from other charities. We believe that our events and resources are valuable tools for helping cancer patients and providing support and comfort to those who need it most. Our goal is to engage with our community in meaningful ways, whether it is through hosting Zoom meetings or other interactive experiences. We strive to create a positive impact in the fight against cancer in any way we can.
